Flip For Joy 乐翻天！

Flip For Joy 乐翻天！ Welcome to Flip for Joy - a Singapore-based children's bookstore, dedicated to sourcing the best Chinese books around the world.

"We just want the best for our kids. This applies to teaching them the Chinese language too." This was the basis of how Flip For Joy was formed. As parents, we realise the value and importance of learning the Chinese language from young. In our search for good chinese books, we found ourselves asking ,"Which books should my child be reading? How can I read to my child if I’m not that proficient in Chinese? Where can we purchase good Chinese books?"

At Flip for Joy, we present you a fine selection of books that meet our expectations - fun, exciting and engaging. With each book, we will share why it was chosen, the benefits it will bring and how as a parent, you can use it to enrich the learning experience of your child. Consider our recommendations and decide which books are best suited for your child. You will be pleased to hear that we offer free local standard mail in Singapore for orders below S$50 and free courier delivery to your doorstep for orders S$50 and above. All books are carefully bubble-wrapped so that you can enjoy them in the best possible condition with your child.

When approached me for an interview to share the story behind Flip for Joy, I realized I actually don’t have many photographs of myself in action, even though I have been running the store for 11 years. My dear friend Sumei got me to swing by the store for a spontaneous photo shoot. So here you go. This is me doing what I love. - Meiru 💕📚

Thank you 🙏🏼
