A little orange and white always adds some nice contrast to the tank.

One interesting thing about Orange Rili is that when the females are berried, you can clearly see the eggs through the transparent section of their body. It’s always nice watching the eggs develop and eventually seeing the tiny shrimplets appear in the tank.

They are incredibly stable and surprisingly easy to care for.

For many years, Sulawesi shrimps have been regarded as extremely sensitive and delicate. However, much of this reputation comes from the challenges associated with wild-caught specimens.

From the moment wild shrimps are collected from the lakes until they reach us, the journey takes around four days. During transit, they often experience significant stress, limited food, and less-than-ideal holding conditions, as facilities in Sulawesi are relatively basic. By the time they arrive, survival rates can be as low as 20%.

Captive-bred Sulawesi White Socks are a completely different story.

Raised in optimal conditions, they travel directly from the breeder's facility to our tanks in less than 12 hours. They arrive healthy, well-fed, and actively grazing from the moment they settle into the aquarium.
