No alpine climbs. Roots, rocks, humidity and lap after lap of punchy singletrack instead.

Singapore XC is its own discipline, and it rewards exactly what the 2027 Oiz is built around: a bike that accelerates the moment you stand up, stays composed when you're cooked, and doesn't need rebuilding every time you wash the grit off it.

Singapore doesn't have a gravel race calendar. So why is this the gravel bike that makes the most sense here?

Because it's also a very fast road bike.

On 40C rubber the Terra Race sits in a fast Sunday bunch out at Kranji and Lim Chu Kang without complaint — then takes the farm-track detours the road bikes have to skip. It makes the Rail Corridor genuinely quick. It's built for exactly the surface-hopping of a Coast-to-Coast day. Fair question, and it deserves an honest answer rather than a sales pitch.

A 6.7kg bike is not going to transform a flat island ride the way it transforms an alpine pass. What it gives you here is instant acceleration out of every corner and every traffic light — and given how much of Singapore riding is stop-start, low inertia is arguably more useful on our roads than on a long drag up a col.

On a TT bike, the rider is the large majority of the drag. Which makes fit the most important aero component on the whole machine.

The 2027 Ordu adjusts further than anything in its class, from just four actuation points:

📐 Stack — the Front Post system moves armrests and extensions through a single column, exactly like a seatpost. 90mm of range on XS and S-M, 140mm on M-L and XL. Flip the base bar for two brake lever heights, 30mm apart.
📐 Reach — two bridge positions give 120mm of horizontal adjustment, plus 15° of bridge tilt.
📐 Saddle — a rail with three clamp points and a reversible clamp gives 100mm of range. The largest Orbea has ever offered — so your effective seat angle can be set forward for triathlon or pulled back for UCI time trial.

Whether you're exceptionally flexible or not at all, it will meet you where you are. We do the position work in-house at Frankel Avenue — and we'll happily set it up twice, once for UCI and once for your long-course position.

Most bikes give you a flip chip and call it adjustable. The Rallon gives you six ways to change how it rides.

⚙️ BB weights — a 553g weight bolts straight onto the GravityLink for a plusher, more planted ride. A World Cup pit trick, built in
⚙️ Flip Chip — High/Low, 0.5° head angle, 7mm BB drop, ~5% shock progressivity.
⚙️ Attitude Adjust — tune kinematic progressivity between 22.5% (linear, sharper, for fast tracks) and 27.5% (progressive, for rough terrain and bigger drops).
⚙️ Wheel size — full 29 or mullet, with GravityLink keeping the geometry unchanged either way.
⚙️ Chainstay — 442mm for flickable, 450mm for high-speed hold.⚙️ Headset Adjust — ±0.75° of head angle from an offset cup. No new parts.

The Terra Race is defined as much by what Orbea left off it as what they put on.

No downtube storage. No extra fork mounts. Top tube and two bottle mounts, and that's the lot — because every gram left on a race bike is a gram that makes it slower.

Where they did spend the effort: OMX carbon, laid up with fewer pieces and more time per frame to reduce overlap. 300g saved with no loss in rigidity. In competition, 300g is the sort of margin that decides things.

Then the details that cost nothing in weight — an internal seatpost clamp borrowed straight from the Orca, an integrated aero cockpit, deep-section wheels, UDH compatibility and the freedom to run 1x or 2x depending on what the race demands.

Most aero bikes are fast in a wind tunnel. This one was designed for the wind you actually get.

Rather than chase a headline number at a single wind angle, Orbea developed the 2027 Orca Aero around 5–20° yaw — the crosswind angles that dominate real riding. Which is a fairly precise description of Changi Coast Road with a sea breeze coming off the strait.

The fork is profiled to align with the downtube so airflow transitions smoothly as the yaw changes. The downtube is slightly wider to manage air across the frame's biggest surface. The bottom bracket keel does real aerodynamic work. The Di2 battery moved low so the seat tube and post could get slimmer.

CFD-developed, wind-tunnel validated, then measured again with riders holding fixed speeds in a velodrome. 21W says it worked.

Squidlock gives you a dropper post and three shock lockout positions from one remote — and behind it, the patented i-Line system runs the rear shock lockout cable in a perfectly straight internal path. No bends, no friction, no vague lever feel three months into the wet season.

It's the sort of detail you don't notice on the shop floor and appreciate every single lap.

Also on the 2027 Oiz: an 8-piece multitool integrated under the top tube, dual bottle mounts on every size, a pivotless flexstay rear triangle and fully sealed bearings. Given what our humidity does to a bike, that last one matters here more than it does in Europe.
