The Rainbow Fish Theme Pre-K Activities
In order to help her conceptualise the idea of Giving & Sharing, I gave her a sheet of stickers that she likes and asked her if she would like to give away her stickers to her 'friends'. 🐟
Love her painting of Whale while I was doing house chores. (I gave her a brush, paper and blue green paints for her to do free painting and she surprised me with the bold strokes of blue & green as the whale) 🐟
Foam Characters Story Props for her retelling (just draw and cut and I used shiny paper to paste on small pieces of foam to act as the shiny scales) 🐟
Fishing of Letters & Numbers (tie a magnet of a stick and attach paper clips or paper fasteners on the paper fish) 🐟

I meant to teach her Weather since last year and when I came upon this bundle at Teacherspayteachers site. I grabbed it after the positive reviews.
This is a fun fine motor activity.
I hot glued the small pegs on the laminated mats. (compared a few sizes and find that her pointer thumb pad fits nicely on the surface of a small peg instead of a mini or large size)
Then we talked about the appropriate outfits to wear on each weather. R loves playing with that and has no issue 'hanging' up the clothes.
Her second fav was the matching weather icons. It was supposed to be a patterning activity but she chose to match them instead.

Another of my best buy,
I'm so excited when my Gosili straws finally arrived in my hands.
I had my experience with the stainless steel and glass straws but both turned out to be not to my preference.
I left my metal straw aside as the idea of not seeing and missing the grimes inside the straw grossed me out everytime I attempted to use it.🤢
And so I got myself a glass straw, thinking I can now see all the residues of my bubble tea lingering along the tube but then I broke a couple of it and it is hard to bring it outside and sooo...😒
I found myself and R the perfect straws after googling on the net for awhile.
Gosili is perfect for both of us! She used to use the stainless steel one but we are so concern she may poke and injure herself while moving around that I set myself on the journey on finding a silicon straw for us.
The colors are so pleasing to my eyes! Mint green! My fav color! And one big plus point is that it is translucent! Hence, I can see clearly the grimes when I'm scrubbing the straw AND I also know when she is not drinking her milk.
(she used to trick me by putting her stainless straw in her mouth and pretended that she was drinking, it took forever for her to finish it.)
There are several sizes and colors for the family and I purchased the family pack to cater to different cups. I got myself the bubble tea one with a tin to bring it outside. It is just so compact and cute!
Though it is pricey (due to shipping from US), i am satisfied as long as all my criteria are checked 😊

Just to share my ❤️ for this Potty ring that I have researched on internet & bought from Amazon.
The reason why I chose this instead of Pot is that I really dislike the idea of dumping poo into toilet bowl and spraying the pot to clean it.
With this, i save the cleaning hassle & I don't have to re-train her twice (1 to p*e in her potty, 2 to p*e in adult toilet bowl again 🤦)
We started the journey in Sept as she has been displaying cues of readiness. This potty ring is designed for toddlers to sit comfortably in it with handles at the side, splash guard for boys and a hook to hang up after rinsing.
Our family has used it very comfortably and I have never encountered stains splashing on the ring. (Thanks goodness 🙏)
Most importantly, she likes to sit in it to do her business. So all is good. 👍
