Nestled in the small quiet space at Taman Molek hides this nice and cozy cafe, which I went last weekend. I was still telling le Hubby that if we do not have any kids, this would be one of our favourite dating spots in Johor for a nice quiet brunch during the weekends.
If coffee is an essential to kick start your lazy weekend, then is definitely a place to go for curb the need for caffine!
Mocha Latte - 3.5/5
Coffee was aromatic with decadent hints of chocolate and not too sweet too. Prefect for coffee drinkers who don't like overly sweet drinks but yet needed that boost of sweetness from the chocolate.
Cappuccino- 4/5
Le Hubby ordered this and his review was the coffee is aromatic. However, the aircon was a little strong in the cafe. Henceforth, the coffee turned cold pretty quickly and it started to lose the flavor and aroma.
Breakfast Orchestra -4/5
Love the quantity! I like the toasted sourdough bread with cream cheese and berries jam! It marries together so well that my mouth is bursting with flavour and fragrance from the jam. Oh how can i forget how perfect the scramble egg was. Creamy, soft, and fluffy scramble eggs are my all-time favourite!
Royal Crossiant- 4.5/5
Le Hubby gave a super good review for this! Crispy, soft and fluffy crossiant pairs with lightly battered, moist and juicy soft shell crab and is a winner! The hollandaise sauce is not too overwhelming and it pairs up really well. Definitely a must order when we go back next time!
Strawberry waffles- 5/5
Die die must order this! The waffle is so so so good! By far, this is the best waffle we had in Johor bahru! Crispy and fluffy waffle with vanilla ice cream, butter cookies crumbs and strawberry jam IS DA BOMB!!
Overall experience was really good and we will definitely pay a second visit to the cafe again!
