It's been a while since I last posted or even put my hand to canvas.
The truth is, God gave our family more opportunities to serve Him in the Church and I found myself happily serving in various Sunday School programs for their art and craft sections.
Between service and being a stay at home mum to two kids, often there is little time to have a hobby. πŸ˜„
But as we've always believed, serving God is more important than "running a business" so I thought it was very appropriate to start again with this verse.

A simple, clear, black and white statement with no embellishments for your home.

Life is a bit like that too. Sometimes your life goes well and sometimes it feels disappointing. Much like this canvas.

But as I've always thought - Thank God for trials. Trials are like a refining fire. It's not a pleasant process but the more reason to remember God's sovereignty and grace during difficult times.

Back to the drawing board for me...

I took a break over the Christmas and New Year period to spend it with my beloved family and friends. 2016 was truly a blessed year for my family and we praise God from whom all blessings flow.

I am already counting my blessings for 2017.

For God's protection and guidance as my family travelled in Japan and more recently, for God helping me to recover from a fever I experienced earlier in the week.

I am also especially thankful that God answered prayer in giving my son comfort and happiness in returning to school for the new year.

Hence, this verse is very applicable everyday and I love to hum it as I go about my day.

I am starting this year off by giving away this canvas to anybody who would love it for their home or gift as an encouragement to remember to praise God from our hearts.
