This is why we discourage horn players from using a handguard.

Same goes for trumpet players.

They are useless and serve more harm than good.

If you have a sweaty hand issue, this will make it worse. It’s just like sweeping rubbish under your carpet.

Best thing to do is to wipe your horn clean and dry all the time when you are free.

Totally not worth it, especially if it’s someone who is giving you the stress.

Just take your time to keep your sax. It only hurt your pocket and your heart, not the one who rushed you.

Just in case people wonder why we get so worked up when our local kids damage a masterpiece like a Yanagisawa saxophone without feeling a pinch. 😡

The factory produced fewer of these than a Lamborghini factory makes their high end sports car.

I am not sure what’s wrong with our local kids. Give them the best instruments they treat it like a toy.
Small accessories like the end plug keeps getting lost even though I have written multiple times on the plug itself “Don’t throw me away!”

Guess the schools like to give me extra businesses to sell them expensive end plugs. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Something interesting for brass players.

Personally I only use synthetic valve oils on my instruments because I hate the strong smell of petroleum based lubricants. Synthetic oil is also cleaner in the long run.

No matter what oil, please use them generously.

I will use anything except blue juice. 😡

If you are a person who cares more about the appearance of an instrument rather than the playability of it, then we really do suggest that you get a very pretty china made instrument instead of those expensive ones from the major makers.

You will save alot more money.

Windworks will not be taking in any tubas from schools or private customers for the next 3 months.

So for schools please advice your tuba players to be diligent in maintaining their instruments.
