Ok. I got to admit that this is probably the best playing made in China horn till date in our shop.

Workmanship is first class and everything plays well! Valves are smooth and it doesn’t have that rough valves sensation on a typical China made horns.

It is on par with some of the pro horns from the major horn makers at less than half the price!

Please check with the Bandworld if you are keen to get it!

Perfect horn for a first timer who wants a value for money new horn!

Big fan of nickel plated valves!

I suppose a better title would be “Us vs. Them”. Regardless, one of our proudest accomplishments is the reputation we’ve earned for having such great valves. Still, we’re asked why we use nickel plated pistons. Why not follow everyone else...

Customer had a Selmer Supreme alto sax that is very unstable with its low notes.

Turns out that the low D key pad that was installed in the factory was way too small 🤷🏽. At least 1 mm smaller. The tone hole is also not flat on both front and back of it making it almost impossible to sit properly.

So the best way to solve it is to replace the pad with a press fit (tight!) pad and making sure that the tone hole is totally flat.

As a horn player, it really irritates the technican when he sees dents on the body.

Here in our shop, we don’t believe in sanding down the metal to make them look perfect. We rather them to have some dings to save more metals on it.

Only dent balls and rollers are used in this repair job.

Going extreme just to remove a stuck main tuning slide. 🙁

Could have been prevented in the very beginning by cleaning it and oiling it frequently.
