The primary wood used on baroque bows is snakewood while pernamubuco and ebony is the default for Classical and Modern bows. Paul also undertakes expert restoration of bows, which are executed with skill and integrity to the historic origins of the bow. Common restorations include straightening, re-cambering, head spline and frog cheval. For those who are concerned about protecting their valuable historical bows, Paul recommends copies of entire bows or more commonly of the frog and button.
