Phyllis was so excited to show us her princess-cut dress, freshly completed during her afternoon class at Fashion Makerspace! We always love seeing what our customers create, and this dress was practically “fresh out of the oven” when she showed it to us.

She fell in love with this cotton lawn fabric from Stylem — not only is the floral print soft, sweet, and perfectly pastel to her taste, but the lightweight base fabric also made it ideal for lining. Sewing the darts became an absolute breeze.

But she’s not stopping at just one version of this me-made piece. Inspired by her first creation, Phyllis is already planning to make another variation on her own — this time with a more A-line silhouette and a slightly longer length. She even picked the same print in a different colourway, stepping a little outside of her usual wardrobe choices. We’re already looking forward to seeing her next make!

We don’t think we’ve quite captured the sheer magic of this romantic tableau — two peacocks nestled among the flourishing branches, surrounded by an intoxicating palette of colour. 🦚🌿

Behind them, luminous shades of blush and rose pink seem to glow against a vast, serene sky blue, creating a dreamlike harmony of jewel-like hues. The colours almost shimmer before the eyes — a scene that feels as though it has stepped straight out of a beautiful painting. 💗💙✨

An interesting combination of gingham and the Alexander Henry Deadwood Saloon fabric. You may remember that Dawn dawn previously made a shirt using the Alexander Henry print. With the remaining fabric, she paired it with gingham to create a fresh and distinctive vibe. We love how this combination highlights the illustrations of the skeletons in the saloon — it gives the design such a cool character. Don’t you think it looks pretty awesome too?

Friendship dresses… for THREE besties to wear together! 💕 When her granddaughter made this little request, how could BelleSews with Suu possibly say no to her little princess? And just like that, Grandma was on a mission! 🔥

She went on a hunt for the perfect floral fabric and found our Bubblegum Floral 🌸—then thoughtfully designed the dresses and even embroidered each girl’s name on them. 🥹❤️

Because for Grandma, it wasn’t just about making three matching dresses. It was about turning her granddaughter’s little wish into a precious memory for the girls to treasure together. ✨

And seeing how happy they were in their matching dresses, posing with their adorable hand signs and showing off their beautiful friendship… we’d say Grandma nailed it! 🥰🤭

It’s always heartwarming to see Lady helping her mum choose fabrics for custom-made tops. As her mum isn’t very mobile, Lady thoughtfully takes the lead in picking out the materials for her.

When the top is ready, her mum looks forward to a little outing to Lee Ann Textile. And what a lovely moment it is—the pink retro top turns out beautifully, bringing a warm smile to her face.
