This Lunar New Year, host family and friends with premium white tea instead of the more typical packeted sugary drinks! It is as convenient - simply drop the tea bags into some cups and pour hot water into it.

If you’d like to serve cold drinks, just put the tea bags into water and leave it in the refrigerator overnight, or put some ice into pre-brewed tea.

White tea is also great for countering the ‘heatiness’ and grease from new year goodies, which is perfect for those of us who would like to keep on eating goodies nonstop!

Working from home doesn’t necessarily mean there is now time to brew a pot of tea. Sometimes (especially in these uncertain times), it could well mean more work, more fires to put out, more conference calls to be made. No time to brew tea even when you’re home? Fret not, just drop a pyramid tea bag into a cup of hot water, and you’re all set.

Who says tea needs to be served in proper tea ware? 😉

The moonlight white tasted equally good in paper cups. We say, better to have tea in paper cups than to have no tea at all.

There is just one type of tea here - the moonlight white. They look different because they were brewed differently. The lighter coloured tea was cold brewed, whereas the darker coloured tea was brewed with hot water.

The teabags make it so fuss free to have tea at picnics. All we did was drop two tea bags each into a water bottle and a tumblr. You guessed right, the water bottle is for the cold brew - fill the bottle up with room temperature water and pop it into the fridge a couple of hours prior. The tumblr option is even quicker - simply pour hot water into it right before you need to set off, and you’ll have ready tea when you start the picnic!

The Chinese celebrate mid-autumn’s festival by feasting on mooncakes, which are typically made of sweet lotus paste, with (or without) salted egg yolks. These are very delicious, but can get a little too much after some bites.

Pairing these with the Silver Tip White Tea is perfect. Light in colour but slightly stronger in taste than other white teas, it provides a necessary balance to the sweetness and richness of the mooncakes.
