Height adjustable desks are well understood as a personal purchase. One person decides they want to stand for part of the day, buys a desk, and uses it or doesn't.

Hinged doors need somewhere to open. In a Singapore entryway that is often the exact half-metre you do not have: the front door swings one way, the shoe cabinet swings the other, and someone always ends up waiting. Most shoe cabinets stop at waist height and leave the rest of the wall doing nothing. This one goes to 180cm and puts every centimetre to work: shoes behind doors at the bottom, drawers for the small things at hand height, a peg rail for coats, bags and umbrellas above, and a display shelf across the top.
