Five years ago, we partnered with Elaine Young. Today, we celebrate not just an athlete, but a cyclist who continues to redefine what is possible.

While many talk about age as a limitation, Elaine has spent the last five years proving the opposite. She continues to train, race, travel, and challenge herself with the same determination that inspires everyone around her. From local events to international competitions, every start line is another opportunity to push boundaries and show that passion never grows old.

What makes Elaine special is not only the races she has completed, but the example she sets. She reminds us that cycling is not about age, speed, or results alone. It is about courage, commitment, and the willingness to keep moving forward no matter where you are in life’s journey.

We are incredibly proud that Lake Cycling has been part of her story, supporting every training ride, every race day, and every unforgettable finish line over the past five years.
