The first piece was made on a whim — I wanted to capture the fluid, organic feel of cloth in clay. I liked how it turned out, so naturally, I made a few more.
There was a lot of freedom in the process, with glaze splattered everywhere like a beautifully chaotic painting. I’m especially pleased with how the glass puddled in all the right places without overflowing and ruining my kiln shelves. 🤞🏻
A little experiment that became a small collection—each incense holder taking on a different form depending on the angle you view it from.
