KORAI – YURAGI Tumbler

HULS Gallery Singapore is pleased to present a special sales event featuring the Japanese craft brand KORAI, running from 3 June through the end of the month across all HULS Gallery Singapore locations and our online store.

Part of KORAI, our original craft brand, the YURAGI Tumbler is a beautifully hand-blown glass designed to capture the subtle movement and softness suggested by its name, yuragi (“gentle fluctuation”). Each piece possesses slight variations that reflect the character of handmade craftsmanship.

Available in three colors, the tumblers bring a refined yet relaxed elegance to everyday drinking.

The collection is currently available at a special promotional price until the end of this month.

Takao Togashi – Jitsugetsu Soup Bowl

The Jitsugetsu Soup Bowl is an iconic form originally created by the renowned Japanese artist and aesthete Kitaoji Rosanjin. This interpretation by lacquer artist Takao Togashi carries forward that celebrated legacy while reflecting the refined craftsmanship of Aizu lacquerware.

The Aizu-Wakamatsu version of the Jitsugetsu Soup Bowl is characterized by its relatively compact size, offering a refined balance of elegance and practicality. Its timeless silhouette and meticulous finish make it suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.

Hiroshi Taruta – “NU” Collection

This new “NU” series by Seto-based ceramic artist Hiroshi Taruta is created using a traditional noborigama (climbing kiln). The works reveal rich and expressive kiln effects born from the interaction of flame, ash, and porcelain during the wood-firing process.

Balancing the texture with refined form, the collection reflects Taruta’s contemporary interpretation of Seto ceramics while embracing the unpredictable beauty unique to wood firing. The series is currently available at our Duxton Hill gallery.
