Two metres of handmade floral magic! 🤍🌸

A flower doesn’t always have to fit in a vase. Sometimes, it needs to make a statement. ✨

I created this 2-metre diameter giant fabric flower, carefully shaping and gathering each petal to create layers of texture, volume and movement. Majestic flower of Height 2.3 metres and width 2 metres took me several days to create this one from scratch.

It’s always exciting to take something inspired by nature and transform it into a larger-than-life piece of floral art. 🌸

The heart of a giant free standing fabric flower. 🤍

A closer look at the 1-metre handcrafted centre created for my 2-metre fabric flower which is slowly coming up!!

The centre was designed with multiple layers of sculpted fabric petals, carefully shaped and gathered to create depth, movement and a sense of unfolding—just like a flower coming into bloom. 🌸

What began as metres of fabric was transformed, petal by petal, into this dramatic floral centrepiece.

Giant stylized paper orchids.

Giant peonies, roses and lotus flowers that I hand crafted from velvet stone paper. Each petal is hand painted as paper is available in white. Each project is challenging in different ways and involves a lot of patience, perseverance and many hours of hard work.
The interesting fact is that this paper is made from rocks and stones and not from trees. It is water resistant too.

300+ paper orchids. One flower at a time. 🌸

It was an absolute pleasure to create these handcrafted paper orchids for the IFM Investors Grand Opening of their Singapore office, held on 3 September The Fullerton Bay Hotel.

Each orchid was individually crafted and brought together to create a floral celebration inspired by Singapore’s iconic orchid. 🇸🇬

Hundreds of petals, countless hours of work, and so much love for the craft. ❤️

300+ handmade orchids. 3,400 yellow pompoms. One very special celebration. 🇸🇬🇦🇺✨

It was such an honour to create the floral décor for the Grand Opening of IFM Investors’ Singapore Office at the beautiful The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore.

For this special occasion, I handcrafted more than 300 paper orchids, inspired by Singapore’s iconic orchid, and created stylised yellow wattle branches using over 3,400 individually glued pompoms, representing Australia.

Every orchid was shaped, assembled and finished by hand, while each tiny pompom was carefully placed to build the delicate, airy character of the wattle branches. 🌼

Seeing these individual handmade elements come together as large floral installations was incredibly rewarding—and even more special to see them framing the celebration and bringing together the spirit of Singapore and Australia.

A project filled with patience, creativity and a lot of tiny yellow pompoms! 💛

Thank you to IFM Investors for trusting me with this special project, and to the wonderful team involved in bringing the vision to life.

Join us for a special Paper Flower Workshop where every handcrafted rose becomes a symbol of strength, hope, and compassion.

This workshop is dedicated to support the cancer patients and survivors, celebrating their courage and resilience. As we gather to create beautiful paper roses together, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Singapore Cancer Society, to support those affected by cancer.

✨ No experience needed – whether you’re a beginner or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your Sunday, this workshop is for you.
