Seen a clip whereby a monk explained good karma and bad karma. What he says is a reality revolving in our life all these while. Our actions greatly affect the circumstances that we undertake and how our life can become so much twisted in certain times.

Salt and water was quoted as an example of karma. Salt equals to bad karma. Water equals to good karma.

Our life equals a glass slowly filled with water. Purity at the very beginning as we were born.

As a person grows older each day, the water will begin to fill the glass. However, not forgetting the salt. With each irresponsible and dishonorable actions, salt is added to the water. When the salt accumulate in the glass of water, our life becomes salty, unhappy and undesirable. Extreme bad actions would result the salty water being poured away and in another way of deciphering, lives will be lost.

To reduce bad karma and to re-purify, is to add more water to the glass and that relate to do more good. By adding more water, the glass that was initially filled with much salt will have become less salty each time more water is added to the glass.

Do more good. Accumulate more good karma. Karmic accumulations will subsequently be purified.
