Received last night Mr Zhang’s review on the Statemtent DC mk2 cable. He is using it between his statement Bdc and Weiss Dac 204.

Hi James,

During last month I have been auditioning Weiss DAC204-MK2 and other cable upgrades, so the Statement DC Cable MK II has not been installed into my system until recently.

The Statement DC Cable MK II is now installed between my Statement BDC and the Weiss DAC204-MK2. The DC2.5 plug seats fully and securely in the DAC204-MK2's jack, exactly as you confirmed, so no concerns there at all.

Some initial impressions from the first listening sessions. Interestingly, there was none of the brightness I usually expect from a brand-new cable. Instead, the first thing I noticed was that the perceived volume seemed lower at the same setting — which I take as a sign of a genuinely lower noise floor. The background is noticeably blacker, and the overall presentation is calmer and more relaxed. More low-level detail surfaces naturally, note edges are cleaner and better defined, and the sound has gained real clarity, weight and density.

In short, it matches your description remarkably well — I can already hear why you called the MK II much better than the original. And all of this is before any real burn-in, so I'm looking forward to hearing where it settles over the next weeks.

Congratulations again on this one — the new connectors and cable design clearly paid off.

We have one of the first feedback from France, for our new PLiXiR Statement DC MK 2 cables. This customer upgraded from the Statement DC cable. It is used to run his service provider modem power supply with the PLiXiR Statement BDC.

His feedback:

I did not expect much impact on my audio system from such a relatively minor cable change for my my router and your Statement BDC. I was wrong, the new cable made a significant impact! This is probably because this is the furthest upstream one can get in the system.

We made a pair of special gold color PLiXiR Elite BAC 3000 mkII to match a long time PliXiR user’s Vivid G2 CU speakers in gold color as well. He uses full mola mola amplification. Besides the aural improvement , it really look exceptional. Awesome and best.
