The Toy Folks Our store has its roots in the same location since the 1990s, cosily tucked in the basement of Forum The Shopping Mall.

The Toy Folks is an independent book and toy store in Singapore specialising in quality and curated arts and crafts, educational toys, books and games for kids 0 – 12 years of age. We're proud to continue the heritage of the store, and to bring the best of books and toys that enrich children’s lives and add lasting value to building children’s foundations.

For anyone who loves puzzles, marble runs, & a good challenge - Gravity Maze is right up your alley! It looks simple at first, but getting the marble from start to finish takes a lot more thinking (& trial-and-error) than you'd expect. We definitely didn't get it right on our first try. Or our second 🤣 But every failed attempt just made us more determined to figure it out!

So, is it fun?! Absolutely. We loved it. It's ridiculously satisfying finally watching the marble roll exactly where it's supposed to go!! 🎢🎉

Chess lessons disguised as storytime? We LOVE to see it!!

Story Time Chess is great for ages 3 & up, and honestly just as enjoyable for older kids and adults who want an easy and approachable way to learn chess. Watch as we unbox and explain how this game (Story Time Chess, not chess itself 🤭) works!! 👑♟

We rounded up our Galt Science kits to show you what's included in each box & were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully each kit is put together. They're all packed with materials & tools for multiple experiments (some with up to 20 activities in a single kit!) so the fun doesn't stop after just one use 🧪🔭👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

We grew up with these and somehow forgot how much fun we had with the simplest of toys. has the most beautiful collection of nostalgic retro toys (and therefore we do too 😛)!

We've lost count of how many grown-ups have picked these up in our stores and immediately said, "WAIT, I used to have this!" & we've watched them turn into kids again the moment they spot these nostalgic favourites 😂
