Hibird Books is an independent publishing house based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Hibird publishes interactive books, special editions, artists’ books and zines. Founded in 2018 by a graphic designer Hana Jesih & an architect Peter Plantan.
Our mission is to challenge the idea, content and structure of traditional form of the book. We search for the dialogue of different media and materials, focusing on the artistic expressions and tactile experience.
Hibird Books first project is Gamebook, an Interactive Book of Board Games. The project was funded on Kickstarter. More information about Gamebook on Hibird Books website.
