The objective is to empower them, prepare for their reintegration and promote their leadership.
Their goal is to generate regular and decent income, in the form of a small sum during detention and an incentive after release from prison.
This artistic innovation preserves the place of young women in their families and helps them to empower themselves.
They sell small design furniture
- made by Minors in conflict with the law, entrusted to the Association FOR THE SMILE OF A CHILD by the judicial authorities of Senegal
- decorated in the technique of Street Art by young women in prison
An original concept:
- An initial training of a young Senegalese artist and young women in custody, by .fiore_ , graphic designer-painter, from the Boulle school in Paris
- A workshop in the prison environment, backed by the women’s district.
- A design furniture factory outside the prison, open to young women after their detention
All pieces are unique and painted with colors that the young women choose according to their mood. Every piece of furniture has a note that explains why she choose those colors in particularly
