Wrapped in Rabal or manjak cloth, a woven fabric from West Africa that originated long before colonization, derived from ancestral traditions practiced by peoples such as the Mandé, Wolof, Soninké, Akan, and Ewé.
Hand-woven and passed down from generation to generation, this textile carried strong social, cultural, spiritual, and economic value.
Like Kente from Ghana or Faso Dan Fani from Burkina Faso, Rabal is more than just a fabric: it is a living heritage.
