Angélique Kidjo has made history as the first African musician to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. ⭐

The five-time Grammy Award winner was joined at the ceremony by Benin-born actor Djimon Hounsou and Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold, alongside her friends and family.

For more than four decades, the Beninese music icon has taken African sounds to global audiences, blending influences from her native Benin with funk, jazz and pop.
