Before 4K graphics, online multiplayer, and massive downloads…

There was something much simpler.

The excitement of turning on an Atari or a Sega console.

The joy of collecting coins with Mario, racing against friends, or trying to beat the same level over and over again.

Those games didn’t have realistic graphics.

They didn’t need internet.

They didn’t require expensive hardware.

Yet somehow… they gave us memories that modern games still struggle to match.

Maybe it wasn’t just about the games.

Maybe it was about playing side by side with friends, sharing one controller, laughing together, and creating moments we’ll never forget.

Technology has changed.

Graphics have improved.

But the magic of the golden age of gaming will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️🎮

Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Salma, this area was once one of Syria’s most breathtaking summer resorts, known for its forests, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere.

During the Syrian revolution, the former Assad regime subjected Salma and many other towns across Syria to relentless shelling and widespread destruction. Homes, schools, public buildings, and even mosques suffered severe damage.

These ruins are not just broken walls; they are silent witnesses to years of suffering, resilience, and sacrifice.

Today, after the victory of the Syrian revolution, these places remind us not only of what was lost, but also of the hope of rebuilding a country where future generations can live in freedom, dignity, and peace.

Urban growth is a sign of life.

But when it happens without proper planning, it creates serious challenges that affect everyone.

Looking at this scene, we can notice several issues:

• Buildings constructed without a clear urban plan.
• Very limited green spaces.
• Poor waste management.
• Narrow spaces between buildings.
• Increased pressure on infrastructure and public services.

Cities don’t become beautiful by chance.
