Mint: Brand new appearance. A term used VERY scarcely!
Near Mint - Mint: The smallest of issues; one miniscule tear of a few mm.
Excellent-Near Mint: A very small touch worse.
Excellent: Excellent! Some very small issues if you look very closely, but still in absolutely incredible condition.
Very Good: I would say this is the lowest serious investment level grade. For decor purposes, it's honestly just as per mint as once it's framed.

Although we say Very Good is the lowest investment level grade; there are certain pieces that such collectors will make exceptions on if they are especially rare, known to be easily damaged, very old etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good - Very Good: I think you're getting the jist of this now!? Between good (below) & very good (above).
Good: It may have some mild-moderate damage, but it will still frame beautifully.
Pretty Good - Good: Visible flaws - 1cm tears - even when framed but generally only when looking up close when framed.
Pretty Good: Totally passable, but we're definitely firmly out of serious collector/investment grade territory. It will have issues such as very mild fading and/or small stains, tears of 2cm, significant edge wear, surface issues but see my strict rule of thumb at the very end of this in the notes section.
Fair - Pretty Good: You definitely need to be ok with it looking its age or not being well handled over the years. It will be quite tatty, but certainly not 'tat' - we don't sell tat!!!
Fair: The lowest grade we will sell & you really need to be ok with a weathered look, with heavy patina. However - condition wise, it absolutely still needs to be... see notes immediately below (the pinned reply below - IG character limit will not allow for more).
