—พระคัมภีร์ข้อนี้เตือนจิตใจเราว่า เราจะต้องขจัดทุกสิ่งอย่างที่จะชักนำหรือล่อลวงเราให้ไปกระทำความผิดบาป ที่จะเป็นอุปสรรคขัดขวางเราไปยังพระอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า โดยไม่เสียดายมัน ต่อให้ต้องเสียสละมากเพียงใดก็ตาม

โรม 12:2—“อย่าคล้อยตามความประพฤติของโลกนี้ แต่จงเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองโดยการฟื้นฟูความคิดขึ้นใหม่ เพื่อจะได้รู้จักวินิจฉัยว่าสิ่งใดเป็นพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า สิ่งใดดี และสิ่งใดเป็นที่พอพระทัยอันสมบูรณ์พร้อมของพระองค์”

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues.

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover.

19 And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God.

20 But they going forth preached everywhere: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.

“สิ่งที่ขัดลิ้นของเขาอยู่ก็หลุดและเขาพูดได้ ท่านก็เช่นเดียวกัน สิ่งที่ขัดลิ้นของท่านอยู่ก็หลุดและท่านสามารถใช้ลิ้นได้ เมื่อท่านต้องการพูด ทำไมท่านจึบใช้ลิ้นทำสิ่งที่ชั่ว แทนที่จะทำสิ่งที่ดี ท่านพยายามเลือกสิ่งที่ท่านอยากรับประทาน ท่านก็ควรจะระมัดระวังตัวในอันที่จะเลือกสิ่งที่ท่านปรารถนาจะพูดออกมาด้วย”

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

พระเจ้าข้า ขอพระองค์ทรงบรรเทาความทุกข์ร้อน หน่ายเหนื่อยใจให้บรรดาลูกๆของพระองค์ ไม่ว่าเขาผู้นั้นจะนับถือศาสนาอะไร หรือไม่นับถือใดๆเลย ในวันที่เขารู้สึกโดดเดี่ยว ขอพระองค์ทรงสำแดงให้เห็นว่ามีพระองค์อยู่เคียงข้างเสมอ ในวันที่มีความสุขขอพระองค์ทรงยินดี หากผู้ใดเป็นลูกแกะที่สูญหาย ขอพระองค์ทรงนำทางมาหาพระองค์เถิด นายชุมพาบาลที่แสนดี ลูกวางใจในพระองค์ อาแมน

Jesus said to his disciples, “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. You also are to testify because you have been with me from the beginning.
I have said these things to you to keep you from stumbling. They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, an hour is coming when those who kill you will think that by doing so they are offering worship to God. And they will do this because they have not known the Father or me. But I have said these things to you so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you about them."
