A Global Gathering of Sound, Culture, and Improvisation 🎷✨ This 24-26 April 2026 at SIWILAI Sound Club.

When jazz is defined as music without borders, the soul-stirring rhythms return once again. This year, the celebration brings together the global jazz community for three days and three nights to experience the raw brilliance of live improvisation. Journey through the golden eras of the 1930s, 50s, and 70s, where timeless heritage meets contemporary expression.

ความหลงใหลในศิลปะตั้งแต่เด็กทำให้จักรพงศ์เข้าศึกษาในสาขาวิชาศิลปศึกษา คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย หลังจบการศึกษาและทำงานศิลปะได้ระยะหนึ่ง เขาได้จัดนิทรรศการแสดงผลงานกึ่งนามธรรมสองนิทรรศการ นิทรรศการนี้จึงเป็นนิทรรศการครั้งที่สามของเขา และเป็นนิทรรศการแรกที่เขาได้แสดงผลงานนามธรรมเต็มรูปแบบ

Jakpong Siririn : He Who Lets Butterflies Roam Free within the Mind
Jakpong ’s passion for art earned him a degree in Art Education from the Faculty of Education at Chulalongkorn University. After graduation and several years of artistic practice, he presented two semi-abstract exhibitions. This marks his third exhibition—and his first to feature fully abstract works.
A defining feature of his art is the combination of his lifelong fascinations and paint drops inspired by butterfly-like inkblots in the Rorschach Test, a psychological tool for assessing the mind. Through varied coloring techniques, he creates works that invite viewers to interpret them through their own thoughts and experiences.

จักรพงศ์ สิริริน เคยจัดแสดงผลงานกึ่งนามธรรมมาแล้วในนิทรรศการเดี่ยว “Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who is the Fairest of Them All” ในปี 2022 และนิทรรศการคู่ “Memory No. 22” ในปี 2025 ร่วมกับศิลปิน กรณ์ นียะพันธ์ (Korn Doll) นิทรรศการ “How Many More Butterflies Will I See in My Lifetime?” ครั้งนี้จึงเป็นนิทรรศการที่สามของเขา และเป็นนิทรรศการแรกที่ผลงานของเขาทุกชิ้นจะเป็นแนวนามธรรมเต็มรูปแบบ

Get to Know Jakpong Siririn, a Painter Exploring the Unknowable Depths of the Mind
Jakpong Siririn presented semi-abstract works in the solo exhibition “Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who is the Fairest of Them All” in 2022 and the duo exhibition “Memory No. 22” in 2025, in collaboration with artist Korn Neeyabhan (Korn Doll). This exhibition, “How Many More Butterflies Will I See in My Lifetime?,” is his third—and his first to feature only abstract works.

Jakpong is an expert at creating free forms by dripping acrylic paint onto the surface with only minimal control over its direction and weight, allowing the emergent blots to transform into forms reminiscent of the Rorschach Test imagery with which he is familiar. He repeats the process until the entire canvas becomes densely layered with overlapping paint blots, producing captivating works that invite personal interpretation.
