Verdy and the World of Street Culture, Typography, and Iconic Characters Loved Worldwide

This episode of “Figure it out” takes you into the world of Verdy, the renowned Japanese graphic designer and street artist. As one of the co-founders of VK Design Works — a creative studio specializing in graphics, illustrations, and artwork for the music and skateboarding scene — Verdy has become globally recognized for creating iconic characters like Vick and Visty. By blending the spirit of 90s Youth Culture with contemporary visual language, his distinctive line work, typography, and artistic style have made him one of the most influential figures in both fashion and contemporary art today.

Hong Thai, another booth bursting with vibrancy throughout THΞPOP 2026 💚

People from various countries dropped by to experience the charm of Thai herbs from a contemporary perspective, enjoying both the signature products and the 'Nong Jaonay' inhaler jar painting activity, which offered a space for everyone to design and create pieces in their own style.
In addition to the visitors, artists, creators, and international guests spent time chatting, sharing smiles, and expressing ideas through these small pieces of art, filling this booth with the energy of creativity and a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the entire event.
THΞPOP is absolutely delighted to welcome Hong Thai as a part of this year's event, passing on the charm of Thai herbs through activities that connect people, art, and creativity together. This is another wonderful memory that will stay with THΞPOP for a long time to come 🌸

There is another space within THΞPOP 2026 where many people found themselves spending much more time than they had expected. 🌿
The exhibition Blooming in Silence — A Cat Among Singing Plants by Chen Yu-Lin was designed as an intimate space, offering visitors the chance to stroll, explore, and gently absorb the stories of nature, memories, and the surrounding beauty without any rush.
To complement this serene atmosphere, Chaw Cher brought in over 10 pieces of furniture to transform the area into a minimal cozy living space. Featuring earth tones, natural materials, and soft textures, the setup naturally harmonized with the artist's illustrations, ceramics, and dried flowers.
The room features the Phoenix Sofa, Krasa Sofa, Autumn Coffee Table, Bird Side Table, Flamingo Sideboard, and Takraw Stool, alongside several other meticulously arranged pieces. These were placed not just to enhance the aesthetic of the space, but also to invite visitors to sit down, rest their eyes, spend time with themselves, and gradually transition from the bustling energy outside into a calm, relaxing atmosphere—all while immersing themselves in the beauty of design, art, and nature at the same time.
THΞPOP would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Chaw Cher once again for co-creating this warm, welcoming space and for making the Blooming in Silence — A Cat Among Singing Plants exhibition another beautiful memory of THΞPOP 2026. 🌸

Over the past 4 days, the Hong Thai booth—one of THΞPOP's partners—has welcomed collectors, tourists, and visitors from various countries who stopped by to experience the charm of Thai herbs from a contemporary perspective. The highlights ranged from the special collection of inhaler cases featuring Nong Chao Nai inviting Thai people to visit 7 zoos, to the signature products that many are familiar with.

The Vibrant Colors of Taiwan IP at THΞPOP 2026

One of the highlights and vibrant elements of THΞPOP 2026 was welcoming artists and Character IPs from Taiwan, who traveled to share their works, stories, and creative perspectives on the same stage. This took place under the theme Safe to Bloom, which opened up a space for creativity from diverse cultures to bloom freely.
Throughout the 4 days of the event, visitors encountered numerous characters and works, including Chen Yu-Lin, BakeFox, Jizo Bosatsu, Brain Planet, Pili Puppetry, Shiba Says, Kinmaton, Ugly Rabbit, and Fumeancats, who traveled to meet fans in person and exchange experiences with international audiences, collectors, and creators.
For many brands, this marked the very first step of their journey into Thailand and served as an important opportunity to get to know a new audience. At the same time, Thai audiences discovered the stories, inspirations, and worlds of Taiwan Character IPs, which are filled with uniqueness, creativity, and distinct perspectives.
THΞPOP would like to thank all the artists, creators, and partners from Taiwan for helping to fill this year's event with inspiration, friendship, and a beautiful cultural exchange. We hope to welcome everyone back to create a new chapter together again. See you next year!

Amidst the hustle and bustle of THΞPOP 2026, there is a space that invites everyone to slowly pause and gently immerse themselves in the beauty around them. 🌿
Blooming in Silence — A Cat Among Singing Plants is a special exhibition by Chen Yu-Lin, a Taiwanese artist and illustrator, who guides the audience into a gentle world through illustrations, ceramics, and picture books that convey stories of memories, feelings, and the hidden beauty within life’s small details.
Throughout the exhibition period, this gallery became a space where people could spend time with themselves in tranquility, gradually exploring the stories in each artwork, and allowing their imagination to journey along with the cats, flowers, and the world that Chen Yu-Lin created.
For many, this might not be just an exhibition to walk through and leave behind, but a brief moment to unwind, let the mind wander, and discover a certain meaning that arises along the way.
