เราไม่ได้ทำงานแทนชุมชน แต่ทำงานไปด้วยกัน
ตลอดการเดินทางของ De Quarr เราได้ทำงานร่วมกับกว่า 100 ชุมชน ช่างฝีมือกว่า 500 คน และผู้ประกอบการ MSMEs กว่า 200 ราย ทั่วประเทศไทย
แต่สิ่งสำคัญกว่าตัวเลข คือผู้คนที่เราได้พบและเรียนรู้ระหว่างทาง
ทุกครั้งที่เข้าไปในชุมชน เราไม่ได้เริ่มจากคำถามว่า
“เราจะให้ชุมชนทำอะไร?”
แต่เริ่มจาก
“ที่นี่มีอะไรดีอยู่แล้ว และเราจะต่อยอดไปด้วยกันได้อย่างไร?”
เรานำการออกแบบและความคิดสร้างสรรค์มาร่วมพัฒนากับทักษะ ภูมิปัญญา และเอกลักษณ์ที่แต่ละชุมชนมี เพื่อให้งานคราฟต์ยังคงรากของตัวเอง และเดินต่อไปได้ในโลกปัจจุบัน
เราเรียนรู้จากช่าง และช่างเรียนรู้จากเรา
เพราะการทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนสำหรับ De Quarr ไม่ได้เริ่มจากการเข้าไป “ช่วย”
แต่เริ่มจากการ รับฟัง เคารพ และเติบโตไปด้วยกัน

We Don’t Work for Communities. We Work with Them.
Throughout De Quarr’s journey, we have worked alongside more than 100 communities, 500 artisans, and 200 MSMEs across Thailand.
But what matters more than the numbers are the people we have met and learned from along the way.
Whenever we enter a community, we don’t begin by asking,
“What can we ask them to make?”
Instead, we ask,
“What already exists here, and how can we build on it together?”
We bring design and creativity together with each community’s craftsmanship, local wisdom, and unique identity—creating contemporary craft that stays true to its roots while finding a place in today’s world.
We learn from the artisans, just as they learn from us.
Because for De Quarr, working with communities is not about stepping in to “help.”
It begins with listening, respecting, and growing together.
