🔧 Service Report – VOLVO PENTA D9 Marine Engine Inspection & Repair ⚓

Another successful marine engine troubleshooting job completed by DB Marine Advance Services for our customer from Myanmar.
Customer Complaint
The customer reported that the VOLVO PENTA D9 engine was experiencing the following problems:
* The boat had very low power and could not reach normal speed.
* The engine was stalling during operation.
* The engine was hesitating and running roughly.
Inspection Findings
Our technicians carried out a complete inspection of the engine and fuel system to identify the root cause of the problem.
We discovered a piece of plastic debris trapped inside the fuel injection pipe, as shown in the photos.
This blockage restricted the fuel flow and caused unstable fuel pressure, resulting in engine hesitation, loss of power, and engine stalling.
Preliminary Cause: Contaminated or poor-quality diesel fuel introduced foreign material into the fuel system.
Service Performed
* Complete inspection of the VOLVO PENTA D9 marine engine.
* Fuel system diagnosis and fuel pressure inspection.
* Removal of the plastic blockage from the fuel injection line.
* Cleaning and inspection of the affected fuel components.
* System testing to ensure proper engine performance after repair.
Result
After removing the blockage and servicing the fuel system, the engine returned to normal operation with stable fuel delivery and restored performance.
