☀️ What a lovely way to end the month! Thank you! ☀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Marketplace last Friday for our August Coffee, Chat & Clothes swap!

It was such a fun afternoon of swapping pre-loved styles, sharing delicious cookies, and catching up over hot coffee. Thanks to your generosity, so many fantastic pieces found new homes while keeping our local wardrobe loop sustainable and vibrant.

We loved seeing both familiar faces and new neighbors join in on the fun. Thank you for making our community space so warm and welcoming every single month!

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL ON SAMUI 💜

As a new school year begins, we’re wishing all the children, parents and teachers across Samui a very happy start to the year ahead!

A new school year brings new friends, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. 🌱✨

For some children in our community, access to education isn’t always guaranteed. The money raised through Marketplace by SOS, together with generous donations from our community, helps migrant children attend Songserm Kindergarten for a year — giving them the chance to learn, grow and prepare for the move into Thai government school the following year. 📖💜

And as parents get back into the school routine, it’s the perfect time to think about how you can support SOS too:

🧺 Have a clear-out — donate good-quality clothes, toys, books and household items you no longer need.

🛍️ Shop at Marketplace — discover something pre-loved while helping support our work in the community.

👕 Need school uniforms? We also have second-hand school uniforms available at Marketplace.

🤝 Come and help at the shop — our team is always grateful for an extra pair of hands.

One person’s pre-loved items can become another family’s find — and together, those small contributions can help create brighter futures for children on Samui. 💜

Good luck to everyone heading back to school! Here’s to a happy, successful and exciting school year ahead. 🎒✨
