A Cartouche shaped Rococo style Mirror

A wonderful example of the flourishing and lively style popular in the early 18th century, commonly known as rococo, or Louis XV.

This wooden mirror was expertly carved in Italy, and boasts an opulent gold leaf finish with just the right amount of patina.

The elaborate ornamentation, rendered in the fluid rocaille style, features beautifully deep and textured carving throughout in a non-repetitive and asymmetrical fashion: hallmarks of the period.

At the top, the crown terminates in a harmonious balance of full and empty shell-like forms, imparting a refined and delicate lightness to the mirror structure.

Given its size and presence, this mirror will make a great accent piece anywhere, or could be integrated into a powder room or cloakroom setting.

Italian Vintage Tole and Porcelain Chandelier

A diminutive 3 light, artistically hand wrought iron and tole lamp, with hand painted polychrome porcelain flowers.
Handmade in Italy, mid 20c.

Gorgeous original wooden faux wax candlesticks on gilt leaf shaped holders.

The combination of the pastel toned polychromy and the floral theme lend this lamp a gentle touch, sure to bring a graceful touch to any space.

20 c. Piedmontese Walnut Louis XV Trumeau Secretaire

From the renowned workshop of Amleto Bertoni (1875-1967), which operated out of Saluzzo (Italy) this majestic walnut cabinet highlights the variety of skills present within his cabinetmaking practice, such as carving and marquetry, each attaining a level of excellence, as this item clearly testifies.

The top doors, inlaid with complex bouquets of flowers, open to reveal a shelved interior, ideal for storing books or china, and is completely upholstered in its original damask textile.
The fall-front opens to reveal a writing surface, with pigeonholes and drawers behind. The lower section appears to consist of two drawers but instead opens as two doors, maximizing interior storage and making the cabinet both elegant and versatile.

A rare and out of production item.
We were able to source two twin cabinets from different locations and bring them to Thailand together: designers and collectors may enjoy the advantage of displaying them as a pair, creating a beautiful symmetrical effect in any space.

19 c. Piedmontese Louis XV Secretaire

Also called a 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘶 𝘥𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘦, this is an elegant antique inlaid desk, reminescent of the manner popularized by cabinetmaker Pietro Piffetti (Turin, 1700-1777).

The fall front features floral marquetry decoration and opens to reveal a fitted interior with pigeon holes, two small drawers likewise inlaid and a writing surface.
The bureau is gracefully raised on slender cabriole legs, themselves embellished with fine inlay over a curved surface.

A particular stroke of genius is the large lower drawer, whose expertly shaped front edge is cunningly disguised within the profile of the serpentine apron, enhancing the piece's harmonious and fluid lines.

A Venetian Murano 6 Lights Chandelier

Precious hand-blown Murano glass chandelier, distinguished by its warm amber tonalities. The design features a central stem from which six gracefully hollowed out arms extend, each fitted with a light and a glass bobeche.

The fixture is adorned with an abundance of intricately crafted leaves and flowers, all demonstrating exemplary glassblowing techniques. The subtle texturing of each glass element is masterfully executed, resulting in a captivating play of refracted light.

The artistry is particularly evident in the realistic folding of the leaves and the delicate formation of the flowers.

Imported directly from Italy, one available, the chandelier is in excellent condition and ready for installation.
