🧵✨ Here is a quick 50-second look at the massive milestones we just hit in Parts 14, 15, and 16 of the Micro Macrame Tree of Life tutorial series.

We are officially deep into the trunk expansion—introducing a brand-new tonal color, mastering the double-hole sewing technique for hidden rows on the backside, and using a little muscle to anchor new cords directly into the frame for maximum stability! 🪵💪

The full, step-by-step playlist is completely organized by part numbers on YouTube so you can follow along easily.

Behind every massive piece of fiber art is a whole lot of string and zero rigid blueprints! 🧵✨

Here’s a quick 1-minute look at what’s been going on in the studio for Parts 12 and 13 of the Micro Macrame Tree of Life wall hanging series.
We officially crossed the 500-meter mark for this dark brown cord, pushed through the freestyle trunk expansion, and yes... I definitely had to undo a few previous knots to get everything looking neat and structurally secure! 🪵💪

Freestyle knotting means making decisions in real time, embracing the uneven roots, and trusting the process.

Let’s make an epic piece of art together. 🧵👇

We are officially diving into Part 1 of my Micro-Macrame Tree of Life series! Today, we are wrapping a 10cm hoop using 1mm flat waxed brown cord to set the stage for the roots and branches.

To do this, I’m using 80 cords, each cut to 450cm. I know that’s a lot of cords, but you will need it and so much more to make this happen!

This is a truly unique piece of macrame art, and I am so excited to share the journey with you. I hope you will join me as I show how to make this epic piece from start to finish.

Save this reel to look back on, and make sure you're following along so you don't miss the next step! 🌲✨
