Bu video, Cultivares çiftliğinde bizimle paylaşılan kurutma sürecine ait kısa bir kesit.

Videoda, homojen kurutma sağlamak için kahvenin güneş altında düzenli olarak hareket ettirildiği süreci görüyoruz. Çiftlikte bu uygulama “bullir el café” olarak adlandırılıyor. Aynı zamanda kurutma alanında Honey proses uygulanmış Sidra varyetesine sahip bir Bourbon lotu da yer alıyor.

Kurutma aşaması, kahvenin fincandaki temizliğini, denge yapısını ve tat profilini doğrudan etkileyen en kritik adımlardan biri. Çiftlikte bu süreci yerinde görmek, kahvenin fincana gelmeden önce geçtiği aşamaları daha iyi anlamamızı sağlıyor.

This video is a short update shared with us from Cultivares, focused on the drying stage of coffee processing.

In the video, we see the coffee being moved regularly under the sun to achieve a more even and homogeneous drying. At the farm, this practice is referred to as “bullir el café.” We can also see a Bourbon lot of the Sidra variety in Honey process on the drying patio.

Drying is one of the most critical steps in coffee processing, directly influencing cup clarity, balance, and overall flavor profile. Seeing this stage at origin helps us better understand the work behind each coffee before it reaches the cup.

Bu video, Kolombiya’nın Huila bölgesindeki Pitalito’da yer alan Cultivares çiftliğinde çekilen ve bizimle paylaşılan kısa bir güncel durum görüntüsü.

Videoda Pink Bourbon kahve ağaçlarının 2026 hasadına hazırlık sürecini görmek mümkün. Ağaçlarda yoğun bir çiçeklenme dönemi yaşanırken, aynı zamanda gelişmeye başlamış kahve taneleri de dikkat çekiyor. Yaklaşık üç ay içinde bu taneler dolum aşamasına geçecek ve büyümeye devam edecek.

Kahve üretiminde bu dönem, hem verim hem de kalite açısından oldukça kritik. Bu nedenle çiftlikte gübreleme süreci dikkatle takip ediliyor. Kahvenin fincana gelmeden önce geçirdiği bu aşamaları yerinde görmek, üretimin ne kadar sabır ve özen gerektirdiğini bir kez daha gösteriyor.

This video is a short field update shared with us from Cultivares farm, located in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia.

In the video, we can see the Pink Bourbon trees as they continue their preparation for the 2026 harvest. There is a strong flowering stage across the farm, while many young coffee cherries are already developing on the branches. In about three months, these cherries will enter the bean filling stage and continue growing.

In coffee production, this period is critical for both yield and quality. That is why the fertilization process is being carefully monitored on the farm. Seeing these stages in the field helps us better understand the patience, attention, and work behind every cup of coffee.

This video is a short update shared with us from Cultivares Farm.

In this video, we can see the first flowering stage of a Liberica coffee tree. Although this different species is still in an early stage of development on the farm, the cherries beginning to form on the tree already create curiosity about the kind of sensory profile they may reveal in the future.

Observing and experimenting with different coffee species allows us to look at coffee production from a broader perspective. Every tree, every flowering stage, and every new harvest brings us one step closer to understanding the journey coffee goes through before it reaches the cup.
