Look down a working apiary today and you can usually see the transition happening in one frame.

Wooden boxes at the front, insulated modular hives further along the row. It rarely happens all at once: a beekeeper tries two, watches a season, then replaces the rest as the old boxes give out.

That shift is running across four continents right now, and it is being driven by the same thing everywhere: colonies that hold their climate need less from the beekeeper.

The finest traditional flavors and exceptional honey varieties of Turkiye are taking the stage once again at the Paris International Honey Awards 2025! 🏆🍯

Each of our honeys, a true gift of nature, will be evaluated based on sensory analysis criteria by a jury that includes members of the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA). 🌍💛

We firmly believe that our outstanding producers, who are the pride of our country, will once again solidify their success on the international stage at this prestigious competition, taking place in Paris on January 25-26, 2025. Our Dear Colleague Temir Mahmutoğlu

As the Apimaye Beekeeping family, we are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beloved colleague Temir Mahmutoğlu, who significantly contributed to our company’s success for many years. Temir Mahmutoğlu passed away today at a young age due to a heart attack.

Temir Mahmutoğlu was not just an employee but also a friend who earned a special place in our hearts with his dedication to our work, honesty, and humanity. Working with him was a privilege, and the marks he left will always be remembered. His diligence, sincerity, and smiling face will always be with us.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Temir Mahmutoğlu’s family and loved ones. He will never be forgotten, and his memories will always be cherished.
