JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an Au-Pair/ Child Care Specialist that possesses a fun and enthusiastic personality. Who is energetic, patient and responsible, and can provide responsible care-giving. The candidate must be experienced in providing care of the child's basic needs, including dressing, feeding, and supervising play and nap times. Must be capable of maintaining a safe and clean environment for the child while in their care.

TASKS:
Dressing and bathing child.
Assisting with feeding child´s meals.
Monitoring child activity.
Tidying the child's bedroom.

SKILLS:
Being flexible and adaptable.
Having time management skills
Being patient.
Having good communication skills.
Being tidy and reliable.
Having multitasking skills.
Being able to work under minimum supervision.
Being able to work under stressful circumstances.
Having planning skills.
Having good judgement skills.

EDUCATION:
Candidates must have experience working with children.
At least 18 years old.
Completed Secondary School as a minimum.
Clean criminal record.
Minimum 3 years experience.
Speaks Standard English.
Early Childhood Care Education.
First Aid and CPR is an asset.

NON- EXCEPTIONS:

Highly Religious

• Care for established lawns by mulching, weeding, trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.

• Plant foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.

• Trimming and pruning of shrubs, perennials and small trees.

• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, create beds, or plant flowers and foliage.

• Remove old landscaping to include removal of sod, shrubs, trees and weeds

• Loading and unloading of plants, mulch, dirt, sod etc as job requires.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the landscape industry a plus.

• Timeliness and dependability critical.

• Proper use of all tools, equipment and machinery.

• Need to be able to follow directions closely.

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.

• Residential installation experience a plus.

• Hardscape installation experience a plus.

Responsible for painting the exterior and interior areas of a company’s projects.

Execute pre-painting activities, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting, papering, texturing, etc. if required.

Follow management’s instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies.

Follow the owners, manager or property manager’s instruction in executing the job utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.

Cary out after project cleaning of areas, supplies, and equipment at the completion of project.

Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations.

Support clients with special maintenance projects as needed.

Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.

Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.

Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure or breakdowns.

Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks.

Oversee the sprinkler system and trash containers on the client's premises.

Conduct performance assessments of client's appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens and coffee makers.

Provide clients’ with support and guidance on maintaining their equipment.
