MEET YOUR BONSAI FACILITATOR
Jerome Harrylal
The person behind your Bonsai Experience.
From plant lover to bonsai artist, educator & workshop facilitator with over 20 years experience.
His journey started with a love for plants.
Since 2012, Jerome has been growing The Exotic Garden TT, sharing his passion for cacti, succulents, arrangements, terrariums — and eventually, bonsai.
Over the years, he has connected with plant lovers across Trinidad through markets, pop-ups and garden spaces. You may have seen him at the NAMDEVCO Farmers’ Markets, or come across his plants and bonsai at Peake Trading the Home Store or Hibiscus Garden Centre in Maraval.
What started with shaping a dwarf jade became years of studying, experimenting and refining his technique.
Today, Jerome’s goal is simple: to show people that bonsai doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating.
Learning by doing.
Jerome’s workshops are practical, hands-on experiences where participants learn the fundamentals of bonsai.
And the best part?
You get to create one too.
From beginners to plant lovers, Jerome’s workshops give participants the opportunity to learn, experiment and leave with something they’ve created themselves.
No experience? No problem.
Jerome guides you through the process step by step.
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN.
