Another discovery, Chancery Lane Swamp.
Tucked away on the south coast, Chancery Lane Swamp is one of the last remaining natural wetlands in Barbados—and it’s a total hidden gem.
Birdwatcher’s Paradise: A major stopover for migratory shorebirds, plus home to local herons, egrets, and pelicans.
Rare Nature: The only place on the island where you can find the unique button mangrove.
Deep History: It's a massive archaeological site, with ancient Amerindian artifacts dating back to A.D. 100.
Wild & Raw: Bordered by a striking inland cliff and the dunes of Long Beach.

Riding in Barbados offers a diverse and beautiful experience across varied terrains:

Asphalt: Features smooth coastal roads and the developing Barbados Trailway, a flat, accessible path built on a historic railway line.

Cart Roads: Hard-packed dirt and gravel tracks cutting through scenic sugarcane fields, ideal for gravel and hybrid riding.

Trails & Singletracks: Technical mountain biking routes found in the interior and northeastern parishes, offering rocks, drops, and flowy tracks.

Walking Trails: Steep, dramatic footpaths all around could be found.

The Island's Beauty:
The scenery transitions beautifully from the calm, turquoise waters and white sands of the West and South Coasts, through a lush green interior of historic plantations, to the dramatic, rugged Atlantic cliffs of the East Coast.

Dominate Every Descent:
This 2023 Revel Rail isn't just a bike; it’s a gravity-defying masterclass in engineering. Built around the legendary CBF™ (Canfield Balanced Formula) suspension, this XL rig climbs with shocking efficiency and descends like magic.
The Build Highlights
The Heart: Revel’s carbon frame—stiff, sexy, and incredibly durable.
Plush Control: Full RockShox suspension suite to soak up the chatter and save your ankles on the big hits.
Crisp Shifting: Brand new SRAM GX Drivetrain and Brakes
Rolling Thunder: Industry Nine (I9) 101 wheelset laced to Continental tires. Expect instant engagement and velcro-like grip in the corners.⁴⁴
The Cockpit: Premium Trail 1 setup for ergonomic precision and an SDG saddle to keep you comfortable during those long climbs to the ball.

Why This Rail?
Most XL bikes feel like boats, but the Rail maintains a playful soul. It’s long enough for stability at those break neck speeds, yet nimble enough to flick through Turbine switchbacks. With a brand new drivetrain and high-engagement I9 hubs, you're getting a "new bike feel" without the "new bike" showroom price.
Condition Note: Meticulously maintained and spec’d with the parts that actually matter. No upgrades needed—just pedals and a rider.

Price: 28,000 TTD (we can talk a bit)

How many of you out there are familiar with 7iDP? All these guys and then some all know the brands.

If you’re a mountain biker, you’ve likely seen their logo on the knees of some of the fastest riders. Short for 7 Protection, this brand has quietly become a powerhouse in the enduro scene by focusing on a simple philosophy: protection should be so comfortable you actually want to wear it.

How Good Are They?
In a word: Legendary. 7iDP is widely considered one of the top-tier protection brands in the industry. They don't just "check the box" for safety certifications; they design gear that handles the weird, high-velocity crashes that actually happen on the trail. Their gear consistently wins "Best in Class" awards for balancing slim profiles with heavy-duty impact absorption.

The Highlights:
The Sam Hill Signature Series: Named after the DH and Enduro legend himself, the Sam Hill Knee Pads are arguably the gold standard for "pedal-friendly" protection. They use body-heat-activated foam that molds to your leg, making them feel like a second skin.

Project 23 Helmets: Whether you go for the Carbon or the ABS shell, their full-face helmets are famous for incredible ventilation (23 vents, hence the name) and their "ERT" (Energy Reduction Technology) which helps manage rotational impacts.

Flexibility & Fit: Unlike the rigid, "robotic" armor of the past, 7iDP uses multi-fabric designs and silicone grippers to ensure your pads don't slide down your shins the moment things get bumpy.

Whether you're hitting local trails in TrinidadorTobago, 7iDP is the kind of "set it and forget it" gear that lets you focus on the ride, not your safety.

Are you rocking 7iDP gear on your rides, or are you still looking for that perfect fit?

Race Recap: The Up and Down of MTB racing.

Stage 1: Cold Start
My legs were cold, a better warm up was what I needed. I felt solid and turned in a great opening run.

Stage 2: Warming Up
Race jitters gone and legs warned. I felt even stronger here than in the first stage.

Stage 3: The Setback
Disaster struck in the form of a mechanical failure. It was a tough pill to swallow, watching my standing drop from 14th to 27th place overall while dealing with the bike.

Stage 4: Grinding It Out
I’ll be honest—I should’ve performed better here. I didn't quite have the edge I wanted, but that’s the nature of racing; some stages just don't go your way.

Stage 5: The Redemption
This was the highlight. I was one of only three riders to successfully climb the hill, securing my three-peat on this section of stage 5.
🔥🔥🔥

Final Results
I finished the event in 21st position overall. While I’m naturally a bit disappointed—knowing a top 20 spot was well within reach—I’m proud of the fight I put up after the mechanical issues.
Huge congrats to all the riders and the crew who made this event happen. It was a hell of a weekend!
So you in 2027 God's will.
