The Romano Family, led by their matriarch, Ms. Selma Adams, recently enjoyed a memorable and enriching visit to the MITTCO facility. The visit was attended by Ms. Adams' children and several grandchildren, making it a wonderful multi-generational family experience.
The tour was graciously facilitated by MITTCO Director, Akua Leith, who shares a longstanding friendship with the family dating back to their childhood years. Her warm hospitality and insightful guidance added a personal touch to the day's activities.
The experience began with an informative video presentation that provided attendees with valuable background information on the facility and its operations. Family members were then treated to an engaging pan ensemble performance, which showcased Trinidad and Tobago's national instrument. For some attendees, this was their first opportunity to experience and interact with the steelpan firsthand, making the occasion even more special.
The tour was well attended and provided a perfect blend of education, culture, and entertainment. Participants had the opportunity to learn, explore, and create lasting memories together in a welcoming environment.
