📚 Help Your Child Study Smarter, Not Harder!

A good study timetable can help children stay organised, reduce stress and make time for both schoolwork and fun. Try these 5 simple steps:

🗓️ 1. Start with fixed commitments — Add school, meals, chores, sports and other activities first, then see where study time fits.

📖 2. Prioritise subjects — Break subjects into specific topics and give extra time to the areas your child finds challenging.

🧠 3. Study when they’re most alert — Save the harder subjects for the time of day when your child has the most energy and focus.

⏰ 4. Add breaks — Try 50 minutes of study + 10 minutes of rest to keep their mind fresh and focused.

⚖️ 5. Keep it balanced — Mix difficult and easier subjects, leave some catch-up time, and remember that missing a session isn't failure. Just start again!

Parents, help your child create a timetable they can actually stick to—and make room for rest, play and family time too! ❤️

☀️💧 KEEP THEM COOL, HYDRATED & HAPPY! 💧☀️

Hot weather can make it easy for children to get caught up playing and forget to drink water. Parents, here are a few simple ways to help keep your little ones hydrated! 👇🏽

💧 1. REMIND THEM TO DRINK FREQUENTLY
Don’t wait until they’re thirsty! Encourage them to sip water throughout the day. Water is the best choice for everyday hydration.

⏰ 2. SET TIMERS & OFFER WATER BREAKS
Children get busy playing! Set reminders and make regular water breaks part of their routine.

🌤️ 3. AVOID PEAK HEAT
When the sun is strongest, keep kids indoors or in the shade whenever possible.

🍉 4. OFFER HYDRATING FOODS
Add water-rich fruits like watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe and oranges to their meals and snacks. 🥒 For veggies, try cucumber slices or celery!

Let’s help our children stay cool and hydrated as they enjoy the school term! 💙💧

☀️💧 HOT WEATHER DO’S & DON’TS! 💧☀️

With temperatures rising, let’s help our children stay safe, cool and comfortable! Here are a few simple reminders for parents:

✅ DO: STAY HYDRATED 💧
Encourage children to drink water regularly throughout the day. Don’t wait until they feel thirsty to offer a drink.

👕 DO: WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING
Choose lightweight, loose-fitting and breathable clothing to help keep them cool. Hats and sunglasses can also provide extra protection when outdoors.

🌤️ DO: LIMIT OUTDOOR ACTIVITY
Try to plan outdoor play and activities for cooler parts of the day, and encourage regular breaks in a cool or shaded area.

❌ DON’T: OVERLOOK SKIN PROTECTION 🧴
Protect exposed skin from the sun with sunscreen, and use hats, umbrellas or shade when possible.

❌ DON’T: WAIT TO HYDRATE 💦
Children can become dehydrated before they realize they’re thirsty. Offer water frequently, especially during active play.

❌ DON’T: OVEREXERT YOURSELF 🥵
Encourage children to slow down, rest and cool off if they feel tired, dizzy, weak or overheated.

💙 A little preparation goes a long way! Let’s keep our children safe, cool and hydrated during hot weather.

📚⚽🎨 More Than Just an After-School Activity!

Clubs, sports, music, dance, art and other extracurricular activities give children opportunities to grow in ways that go beyond the classroom. As parents, your encouragement and support can help them discover what they enjoy while building skills they’ll carry with them for years to come.

⏰ Time Management: Balancing schoolwork, activities and free time teaches children how to plan, prioritise and manage their responsibilities.

💡 Learning New Skills: Whether they’re learning a sport, playing an instrument or joining a club, children develop new abilities while gaining confidence through practice.

🤝 Developing Social Skills: Activities give children a chance to meet others, make friends, communicate, cooperate and learn how to be part of a team.

⭐ Exploring Their Interests: Give your child room to discover what excites them. They may uncover a passion or talent they never knew they had!

Parents, encourage them to try, support their efforts and celebrate their progress. Sometimes, the activity they enjoy today can help shape who they become tomorrow. ❤️

📚 How to Help Your Child Fight Procrastination

“Later” can easily turn into “I don’t have enough time!” 😅 Help your child build better habits with these simple strategies:

⏰ 1. Schedule Study Time & Free Time
Create a routine that balances schoolwork with play, rest and screen time. Knowing when it’s time to study—and when they can relax—can make starting homework feel less overwhelming.

🎯 2. Fight the Perfectionism Streak
Remind them that homework doesn’t have to be perfect to be valuable. Encourage them to start, make mistakes, learn and improve rather than waiting until they feel everything is “just right.”

👏 3. Reward Their Efforts
Celebrate progress, not just finished assignments or high marks. A little praise, encouragement or a small reward can help children feel motivated and proud of the effort they’re putting in.

Small steps today can build better study habits for tomorrow. ❤️📚
