After 5 years of accessing the internet via Flow or Columbus Communications.
They've doubled my internet speed for free over the years as they have upgraded, I am thankful as this is rare to other ISP around the world.
BUT.After a recent upgrade I've noticed that they have been throttling my connection. this is against net-neutrality and it's absolutely disturbing to see such nonsense reach within Trinidad's ISPs. TSTT Blink however I've used at my father's house and there's no throttling experienced with them. kudos to TSTT, though they need to upgrade their sh*tty infrastructure and connection.
To fix the issue, today I've gotten a VPN service for the first time, a free VPN service called CyberGhost VPN. I am more than satisfied with the service and I'm considering buying the full service or getting a premium VPN like Vypr VPN.
Before I'd have to wait a while for full HD videos to load, but, now I can stream 1080p 60fps videos, loading with the blink of an eye.
Dunno how this affects gaming or streaming performance will keep you posted.
