ZZ plant. The ZZ plant is an air purifier. It absorbs copious amounts of toxins such as toluene, xylene and benzene.

ZZ plants will be available at the Garden of Love at the NAMDEVCO's Farmers' Market on Saturday 9 November, 2019 on the Track in the Queen's Park Savannah for $60 from 6 am.

Aloe plant. This aloe plant that the little boy playing his harmonica is sitting next to is not only an attractive succulent but it can be easily grown indoors.

Aloes should be grown in a location that offers bright, but not direct sunlight. This succulent like most others likes soil that provides proper drainage to avoid root rot. Aloe plants have medicinal value that includes, but is not limited to relieving pain from scrapes and burns when applied topically.

This gem will be available for $20 at the NAMDEVCO Farmers market on Saturday 5 October, 2019 at the Track in the Queens Park Savannah from 6 am.

Euphorbia ritchiei are very easy to care for. Their biggest threat is over watering. Euphorbias like free-draining soil and lots of sunlight. Please note that they differ from other succulents in that do tolerate long periods of drought. This darling in a white and brown roped plant pot will be available at the NAMDEVCO Farmers' Market on Saturday 5 October, 2019 from 6 am for only $25.

Flowering teardrop succulent trailer.

This image shows that the teardrop succulent bears a pale yellow flower (bottom). The moisture in plants in hanging baskets should be monitored as they tend to dry out faster. The teardrop should be treated with a household fertiliser and one should should also treat with potash to stimulate flowering.
