I can’t take you on adventures in a Porsche, but I can drive a truck and take you to watch the sunset by the sea.
I can’t afford a Chanel bag from a luxury department store, but when we walk into a toy shop, you can pick any toy you want.
I can’t treat you to lobster and steak at fancy restaurants, but I can always add an extra braised egg to your bowl of minced pork rice from a roadside stall.
I can’t give you a lavish wedding filled with luxury, but I do have an entire room full of Pigmon toys for you to enjoy.
I can’t afford an extravagant diamond ring, but I can make a one-of-a-kind ring box with my own hands. (Although, in the end, you were the one who actually finished making it. 🌝)
The world is vast. There will always be someone richer, more successful, or more accomplished than us. If happiness is built on comparison, life will never have a finish line. Human desire is a bottomless pit that can never truly be filled. True happiness isn’t about having more than others—it’s about appreciating and cherishing what we already have.
Thank you for choosing me and allowing me to walk through this ordinary life with you. There are countless people and countless things in this world to admire and envy, but to me, the greatest blessing isn’t what I own. It’s that among billions of people, I somehow found you—and even more amazingly, you chose me too.
Love, always ❤️
