民國70年，阿公阿嬤在故鄉美濃種植洋菇、香菇，掙了些錢，開了間小傢俱行，經過了幾年，擴張成雜貨店，阿嬤說，這些年忘不掉的，是小時候的記憶。阿嬤是客家人，當年還是小學六年級的阿嬤，成績優異，卻因家裡長輩男尊女卑的觀念而停止升學，留在家的阿嬤，開始向媽媽學習醃漬的技法、客家菜的烹調，開始了阿嬤不凡手藝......
