is designed to shift through Bluetooth controller. The combination provides smooth shifting experience and quick response to your clicks.

Gear step is the percentage of the increase between two adjacent gears. To calculate gear step, divide the higher gear you’re comparing by the lower one and multiply the answer by 100. For instance, (0.6÷0.5) ×100=120%. In other words, it’s a 20% increase.

For every shift, cyclists need to readapt to new speed. Therefore, if there is a set of gears with unsteady increase between gears, you’ll waste extra power in order to maintain speed, causing negative effect on your athletic performance. Especially when you are riding at full speed or climbing slopes, unsteady gear steps will be a stumbling block for you.

It can be seen from the graph that if the gear steps don’t increase by the same constant rate, there will be a broken line in the linear shape, it would be hard for you to maintain your speed while shifting; On the contrary, if there are stable gear steps, a perfectly curved line will appear, shifting would be smoother.
