在台南東邊有一座寶山標高352公尺，這裡有一座靈氣旺盛神威顯赫的龍船窩紫竹寺，歡迎大家來參香拜拜，若喜歡健行登山的朋友，亦可將車停在五間車站，然後從五間登山步道步行，到稜線三义路口左轉，沿途吸收芬多精及欣賞風景，再到紫竹寺拜拜喝杯熱茶，往北還有一座觀音佛祖聳立山腰，手持楊枝淨水，遍酒十分法界，前方有涼亭可休息，眼眺台南各地，傍晚可觀夕陽，真是假日休閒的好地方。
