Established in 2016, MRKT5 is a concept store as well as a creative space that offers a wide variety of services in lifestyle, essentials, fashion, timeless and design art. This space will house a selection of multi-brands that range from hats, sunglasses, timepieces, luxury leather goods, splashes for your body and home. When creating this concept, the process was just a simple idea of a space th
at friends and good people can rent to sell whatever they wanted. This group of people, are from all parts of the world so naturally, everyone’s taste and style were very different. We MRKT5 are a concept store that not only gives ourselves a space for creative freedom but other individuals or brands as well. This space can be used for events, Pop-Up’s, collaborations, art exhibitions and global crossovers. We believe that freedom of expression is through all types of art form and that there are no boundaries that one cannot achieve with a concept store like MRKT5.
與眾不同的「MRKT5」，源自於熱愛時尚設計的兩位創辦人─ Wendy 與 Tiffany。Wendy 擁有豐富的時尚零售與採購經驗，Tiffany 則擅長時尚設計與造型。一開始，兩人只是有對空間利用的單純想法，希望可以讓大家租用空間，或作為工作室，或以市集的方式來販售任何商品。隨著她們每季跑遍如 CAPSULE、LIBERTY SHOW、AGENDA 等海外大型的時尚商展看秀、以及不斷討論，最後決定以結合不同的品味與生活喜好來展現。於是，走進「MRKT5」，可以看到由兩人精選來自世界各地生活家的時尚配飾及日常用品，也能找到Tiffany造型工作室、以及 Synthetic Lab 刺青藝術。更多的空間還可提供給不同的藝術或創意活動使用，未來甚至規劃每季能與台灣新銳設計師合作快閃店 (POP-UP Store)。
店內的時尚選品以配件為主，因為相較於隨季節流行快速汰換的服裝，好的配飾更經典百搭，也最能展現個人風格。有強調自然環保與精密工藝的木製腕錶品牌Analog Watch Co.、女神卡卡也愛戴的設計師女帽品牌Satya Twena、洛杉磯設計師太陽眼鏡 Kingsley Rowe，以及曾與時尚大叔 Nick Wooster 推聯名手拿包的手工皮革品牌 Parabellum 等。強調生活風格（lifestyle）概念，當然也少不了增添生活質感的日常用品，販售有由音樂人創立的瑞士蠟燭品牌Calming Park、來自布魯克林的香氛品牌 MCMC Fragrances、以及香港知名髮品公司 HAIR CORNER與日本潮流教主 NIGO 合作推出的全新髮型產品系列
「HAIR CORNER designed by NIGO®」。
正如店名的數字5，代表著雋永彌新(timeless)、生活風格(lifestyle)、日常必需(essential)、藝術設計(design art)，以及流行時尚(fashion)形塑風格的五個重要元素，透過自由多元的的場域彼此交融，來到「MRKT5」將會發現屬於你的風格定義。
