Fresh eggs from my colleague farm. This throw back some amazing memories when I was little, my grandfather had ducks, and chicken but we never saw any eggs 🤣 We did pick on the chicks 🐣 which lead to us (my sister and I) running for our lives 😅🙈 as mother duck and chicken wasn’t pleased 🤓

It would be amazing if we could do this now and share or trade what we have, to get through tough times.

Here’s our Gabriel quality checking these eggs! So grateful to Edward and his family for these 💕 This makes me want to make egg pudding to share with him and his family as well.

I have to apologize to those who trusted me to make something for them and I haven’t been a great at handling it. One thing I’m trying best to change is being less frickle / procrastinating, too many ideas and don’t know which one to narrow down, in the end, I didn’t get any work done 😭

Work had been so emotional and mentally exhausting that I feel so drained… and when slowly when I pick myself up, I had lost my dad unexpectedly! Navigating the lost was very confusing. Confusing because he haven’t been present in my life for some time, and losing him forever feels different.

I’m forever grateful for my furry babies who makes me smile but I scared them when I started to cry 😿 haha… life is really like a roller coaster 🎢 I really feel doing handmade make me feel calm and can’t wait to get back to it…

This month would be another challenge to us as economy isnt quite good, so some salaries will be delayed! We are greatly affected, so we’re still undecided if we should move to a place unfamiliar to us, but free… cost of moving would be equivalent to our months rent as this new location doesn’t have a escalator 😭😭

Slowly getting back my sewing mojo… It’s really hard to juggle physical stress and emotional stress at the same time. Constantly getting burned out… slowly, my “granny hobbies” been keeping me sane.. it’s a slow process..

Does work constantly makes your burn out as well? How do you handle it? Most of the time, I sleep a lot like our cats 🐈 🤓

These past months been a lot of health struggles, our marriage, finances and work struggles. With so much I felt it’s so har for cope, I could only hide under my cross stitching coz this doesn’t allow me to overthink, just sew.. it helps in some way.

But slowly, been getting back in the motions with a little push from my customer, which I’m so grateful for her patience and regret for the delay.

Of course one fear I’m facing and loving at the same time is using my new investment, this was something I had dreamed of owning but at a great cost. This baby didn’t come cheap 🙈 it’s more than 3k investment but I was scared to use it! Why? I’m afraid I would break it 😅

But I’m getting out of my comfort zone and love using it, it’s abit of struggle as I’m not familiar with her, but I’m sure in no time, she and I would be great partners. Should I name her? I know it sounds crazy, but I hear people naming their machines 🤔

I also have some reality check, the place I been hoping could be my future shop and home, isnt going to materialize. I spend the past year trying to make it work, and when it all fell apart back in October, I can’t help but feel my world had feel apart. I don’t have a safety net anymore.. it scared me and all I could do is sleep most of the time which I feel was my way of coping. But just in January, someone gave us an option.. I could only pray that it’s what I hope for… a home for our pets who are our babies, a temporary home for at least 3 years for us to strengthen my finances, and open my home studio shop. When all hope is gone, I could only pray 🙏 and turn to handmade as it helps calms me down. How adorable are these little onesies 💕

A new year, starting with something new like an evenweave fabric. This is part of the called the Frosted Snowdrops.

My cross stitch setup reminds me back when I was a kid and I have to grown sprout 🌱 from green mung beans 😅
