Our Story
My name is Haley Sabzevari and I currently live in Smyrna, Georgia with my family. I am a certified special education teacher, and I have over five years of experience working in the public school system. I graduated Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education degree specializing in special education. After working in the school system, I turned my attention to supporting families and students with various exceptionalities, because I believe that EVERY student has the potential to be successful in school and in life. I am here to support and advocate not only for the students but for the parents as well. Every minute a child spends without appropriate services, remediation and interventions is lost time and education that becomes more difficult to recover. I can be the positive light to help your family navigate through the world of special education. Examples of services that I can provide for you as the parent include: -Writing and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) based on the needs of your child. -Consultation and explanation of your child’s education plan: accommodations, goals and objectives, least restrictive environment and classroom placement. Support in explanation and understanding of services and individualized instruction to best meet the needs of your child. -Support in preparation for meetings (IEP, Eligibility, BIP, transition) and attendance of meetings as needed. -Advocacy for your child’s learning and for your understanding of what your child is enduring in his or her school environment. -Teach strategies needed for your child to be successful in the classroom and in daily life: -Develop self-confidence: I strongly believe that every child with the right supports in place should feel they are thriving in a school environment and have their own voice when it comes to their learning.
