Solright × | AeroPress Workshop – Completed🔥
In just two hours last weekend, we took a deep dive into the world of coffee extraction through an intensive hands-on session.
Coming from Taichung, we brought coffee beans from and , sharing these Taichung flavors with our friends in Chiayi. Great coffee is always better when it’s shared
With plenty of hands-on practice— and with Archie being a true AeroPress enthusiast— we explored every detail during the workshop: grind size on the Solright DB-1 grinder, water temperature, AeroPress brewing speed, different water types, filters and filter papers… Every variable you can think of was tested
It was intense, fun, and honestly an amazing coffee experiment.
At Solright, we truly believe in learning by doing. Through repeated practice, the differences become clear and memorable, so when you brew at home, new ideas naturally start to come together.

Coffee Brewing Exchange Day ☕️

Today, the Solright DB-1 found its way to in Taichung. This café is known for its unique approach — featuring the Poursteady, a precision brewing system that delivers consistency in every cup.
Owner and barista Wayne paired the Poursteady with the DB-1 for grinding, and through their parameters, the result was a cup that was clean, sweet, and beautifully balanced.

Step into 1035, and take home more than just coffee — Now, you can also bring home a DB-1

On Taichung’s Shifu Road stands Hausinc 1035, a doorway into another time. Its green terrazzo walls, red brick textures, and timber trusses whisper the elegance of the Japanese colonial era. In the lofty interior, sunlight spills over century-old wood and brick, letting every step feel like walking through history.
Once the Suzuki ENT Clinic in 1916, “1035” was its telephone number—a rare connection in its day. A century later, the number lives on, not only as a name but as a symbol of heritage. After four years of meticulous restoration, this building has become a cultural landmark, a vessel of coffee aroma, design sensibility, and the city’s memories.
Today, Hausinc Cafe brews every cup here with intention, and the Solright DB-1 is now part of that ritual. From now on, you can not only enjoy a carefully crafted coffee within these historic walls, but also take a DB-1 home—bringing the warmth and beauty of this old house into your own brewing moments.
And soon, we’ll be sharing Hausinc 1035’s brewing parameters, so you can recreate the same harmony of history and flavor in your own home. Stay tuned.
