Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants

The Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants, the only literary award in Taiwan dedicated to migrant workers, officially launched its call for submissions with a press conference on April 14.

The event was hosted by Thai actress Emmy Huang (黃可欣), with an opening performance by the Kaban Dance Troupe (珈斑樂舞團), creating a vibrant Southeast Asian artistic atmosphere.

Over the past decade, the Migrant Workers Literature Award has received more than 3,000 submissions, building a rich literary legacy. Through the publication of ten anthologies featuring over 200 works, it has transformed the lived experiences of migrant workers into valuable cultural assets.

We look forward to welcoming even more participants this year, inviting individuals to share and document their own life stories through writing.
